For over 150 years, Bright Cheese & Butter has been defined by the “old-fashioned way.” From the first horse-drawn wagons delivering milk in 1874 to the world-class cheddars leaving our facility today, our focus has always been on the craft. But as we celebrate over a century and a half of history, we realized it was time to give our digital home a facelift that reflects the quality of the products inside our packages.
The Inspiration Behind the Redesign
When we set out to build this new website, we wanted to capture the soul of Bright Cheese & Butter. Our inspiration came from our deep roots in the community. We looked back at the stories of the local farm families who founded our cooperative in 1874 and the generations of shareholders who have maintained our legacy ever since. This site was designed to reflect the simple, honest beauty of the Oxford County countryside and the natural, old-fashioned methods that have defined our cheesemaking since the very beginning.
