Absolutely. We use 100% fresh, local milk from Ontario dairy farms. We take pride in our “pure and simple” process, which avoids the unnecessary additives often found in mass-produced alternatives.

We are still located at our historic site just north of the village of Bright, Ontario. Our main factory and retail shop information can be found on our Visit Us page.

Yes! While we love seeing visitors at our factory store, Bright Cheese is available at many small local shops, farm markets, and select specialty grocers throughout Southern Ontario.

We were founded in 1874 by a group of local farmers, making us one of the oldest independent cheese companies in Canada. We celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2024.
